In this episode I will share with you a Mental Winner exercise, where you get to work with your mindset.
You develop the ability to have an offensive mindset, regardless of the position and regardless of whether you are the favorite or the underdog in the competition.
There are quite a few athletes, who focus on the wrong thing or become too defensive in their thinking.
It affects their performance negatively and a negative spiral can start.
In this exercise, you imagine how to handle these situations and maintain an offensive mindset throughout the competition.
I start with a short body review to get you completely relaxed and present in the moment.
Next, I guide you through how you, as an athlete, handle different scenarios in a competitive situation. And how to get the right mindset. There are four different scenarios:
You are leading against a normal better opponent according to rankings)
You are behind against a normal better opponent
You are leading against a normal worse opponent
You are behind against a normal worse opponent
Have fun.
Finally, please share this episode with athletes, who you think could benefit from this Mental Winner exercise.
